PATERSON, N.J.(CBSNewYork) — Winter weary residents were still digging out on Saturday morning, as another winter storm was rolling in.

The weight of the recent snow and ice has caused problems for businesses and homeowners alike, CBS 2’s Janelle Burrell reported.

“It’s mother nature and we’ve never seen anything like this before,” Paterson resident, Grant Carter said.

Carter was snow weary and exhausted from what he called a perpetual dig-out. He was still working to clear his two cars from the last storm.

His street in Paterson is typically a two-way road but on Saturday it looked more like a one-way with snow mounds and packed ice making it tricky to navigate.

With more snow on the way heavy accumulation on top of roofs has created another concern.
